I went to a party this week, where I was shown around the adorable house. One girl's room I absolutely fell in love with. The walls were painted my favorite shade of blue. It was fabulous. She works at Anthropologie, which obviously means she has a great sense of style and fashion.
She uses this cute door as a headboard. On the end of her bed was draped a toile throw blanket. Toile. Enough said. I loved this frame collage she had on her wall. It was a great use of space. The pictures inside the frames were super cute, too.
This was my favorite. It's a lamp made from teacups, saucers and dessert plates. I think it would be farily easy to make, so I may try some day.
I love this dresser. I may want to make one, but in white and tan. Sounds cute, eh?
I may need to go to my room now and figure out some things I can do to make it cuter.
My life feels junky lately, like I'm carrying around too much emotional baggage. So, I'm life cleansing. No, not Life Cleansing. Real life cleansing. Like, taking all of my emotional crap and getting rid of it. Also, I joined a gym and am going to start eating like a real vegetarian. Soon, I'll be completely emotionally liberated, skinny and healthy.
I love her song "C'est L'amour" I listen to it several times a day. Her other stuff is a bit too country sounding, though.
Also, I want everyone to know that I fell down running away from a mouse at work the other night. I'm sure it was very hilarious from a second person point of view. I just don't want any diseases.
I think I'm going with kind of a bird theme. I love these birds (me, my mom, and two sisters all have these birds. Oh, and my grandma. They were on clearance for a really great price at Michael's. How could we resist?) I love the picture of the winged bunny (Work of Nathan Perry,) and I LOVE the frame. I have three now (they're from Ikea, my one true love.)
This beutiful jewelry tree (notice the bird on the top) was purchased from TJ Maxx (you should all know that I never buy anything full price.) Isn't it amazing??
I bought this beautiful antique tray at a yardsale this summer for $1.50 (sorry the picture isn't very great.) I use it as a perfume tray. Cute, huh?(Notice more birds?)
This beaut I got from Tai Pan (Sorry the picture is so that you can't see the details. The wondow was in the way.) I was actually intending to purchase it for full price because it was exactly what I was looking for, but when I got up to the register, it rang up on sale! Amazing.
So, that concludes todays tour. I'll post pictures of my new bed with my amazing new bedding when I purchase it (hopefully) next week!

Okay, so I got frustrated with my old blog so decided to delete it a start fresh. I'll post interesting things soon, I promise.
